Our story starts back in 2014 when my family—Jamie, Wally, and I—were sitting on the couch watching House Hunters International. One episode later, we were inspired to take a leap of faith and buy our first vacation rental. What started as a single condo quickly turned into a passion for hospitality and entrepreneurship.

At JKW Vacation Club, our mission is to build a community of like-minded travelers to explore the world together while traveling with purpose. We believe that travel is more than just a getaway—it’s about creating meaningful connections, embracing new experiences, and making a positive impact.

  • Jamie is the heart and soul of JKW Vacation Club—a spicy Latina firecracker, standing 5’2” with a whole lot of attitude and an even bigger heart. Born in Guatemala, she moved to the U.S. at 17 in pursuit of her American dream and a better future for her family. She taught me the importance of generosity, resilience, and always keeping an open heart. Her passion for giving back is woven into everything we do, making JKW more than just a business—it’s a family.

  • From refereeing high-level rugby matches, jumping out of helicopters, to building JKW Vacation Club, my journey has been shaped by resilience, passion, and the belief that travel should have purpose. Inspired by my mom’s entrepreneurial spirit, my dad’s analytical skills, and my own love for adventure, I’ve dedicated myself to creating a travel community that connects people and gives back.

  • Wally is the rock of our family, the steady hand that guides us through both the highs and the lows. When my mom and I are butting heads, he’s the one who calms us down, reminding us to take a step back, breathe, and appreciate the amazing life we’ve built. With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, his experience and wisdom have been invaluable in shaping JKW Vacation Club. Above all, he’s my role model for what it means to be a perfect husband and father—someone who leads with love, patience, and unwavering support.
